Barbara F. Umstot passed away May 1, 2024. 

Dennis W. Burts died April 27, 2024. He is survived by his children Elizabeth, Nikolous and Taylor.  The family will hold a memorial at a date, time and location to be announced.

Ralph H. Sickler, 85, of Oxford, passed away April 27, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Ethel. He is survived by nieces and nephews -Kenneth (Darlene) Corson, Deborah (Barry) Buchinsky and Darleen (Jerry) Fernquist. Ralph formerly worked for Gary Dwyer Excavating in Endicott. A graveside burial service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday May 9 at the Union Center Cemetery.    

Anita Banks, 76, of Binghamton passed April 26, 2024 at Cortland Park Nursing and Rehab Center. She is survived by her children Felicia, Renee, Melinda, Ramona, Christopher and Andre as well as numerous grandchildren. There are no public services scheduled at this time.

Maria A. Moonasar passed April 26, 2024. No local services will be held

Moira Shirvan, 73, of Endwell, died April 25, 2024. She is survived by her children Heather Yee and Jeremy Shirvan; grandchildren Rebecca Yee, Sarina Yee and Rachel Shirvan; siblings Mitchell Shirvan, Alissa Studley and Sheryl Hodes. Moira was a very dedicated member of Temple Israel. A graveside funeral service will be held 9:30 am Wednesday at the Temple Israel Riverside Cemetery, Conklin, NY.

Susan Baumlin (Lepak) passed away peacefully at 4:55pm on 4/22/24 at Guthrie Lourdes, after a brief 6-week battle with lymphoma.  She is survived by her husband of 50 years Craig, daughter Pamela (and husband Rod), son Ken (and wife Ally).  She was predeceased by her father Mel Lepak, her mother Frances Lepak (Wozniak), and her sister Barbara Lepak.  Susan was born in Madison, WI. Esther Louise Wilcox, 90, went home to be with her Lord on April 22, 2024. She is survived by her brother LeRoy Wilcox and his wife Patricia, sisters Sylvia (Wilcox) Merkel and Juanita (Wilcox) Beauman, as well as many cherished extended family and friends. Robert Leon Basmann January 15, 1926-April 18, 2024 Robert Basmann, 98 years old, died peacefully in his Vestal home. Robert was born in Davenport, Iowa of Alonzo Basmann, who worked in the house building industry, and Harriet Townsend Basmann, a soprano singer.  Robert outlived his three siblings.
